Ciao and welcome to Walking Venice! I am a native Venetian and I would like to introduce you my city in a unique and engaging way.
Venice has of a ton of history and is visited by millions of tourists each year. I would like to help you enjoy some of the interesting, fun, strange and wonderful aspects of my city, giving you more freedom than you would have on a typical touristic tour.
Simply launch this app and start walking around Venice. When you are in proximity of an interesting place, this app will send you an alert with more information about it. You will learn unusual things about this marvelous city that are just waiting to be uncovered and discovered. You can rely on the automatic alerts during your walk, and you can also review the locations from the main menu, so if you miss a place you really would like to experience, just click on it and we will direct you there!
My hope is that this app will allow you to remember your time in Venice as a truly unique and wonderful experience.
